There’s going to be a little more colour and creativity in the Kids Zone this year, thanks to first-time festival sponsor K&M Art and Craft Supplies.
Since opening in Victor Harbor just a few years ago, K&M has quickly become a go-to for local artists, crafters and anyone who suddenly discovers they need a very particular pen, paint, paper or that one obscure thing their latest project simply cannot do without.
At the heart of it is Kelly, and her daughter Monique.
Kelly is a familiar face around the Fleurieu arts community, regularly popping up at galleries, exhibitions, openings, events and studios – usually accompanied by that infectious smile. And when somebody is looking for something K&M doesn’t have on the shelf, she’ll go out of her way to track it down or bring it in.
For their first year involved with the Victor Harbor Rock ’N’ Roll Festival, K&M is putting that enthusiasm behind our Kids Zone on Warland Reserve.
Alongside our free colouring-in and activities, K&M will be there with kid-friendly art supplies, craft kits and plenty of things to get little imaginations firing. So while the grown-ups are admiring cars, browsing the markets or contemplating another dance, younger festival-goers can get busy making something of their own.
We’re delighted to welcome K&M Art and Craft Supplies to the festival for the first time, and especially pleased to have a local business helping us add something extra to the Kids Zone.
