This year, we’re turning up the fun for our youngest festival-goers with the brand-new Kids Zone: a space made just for them, right in the heart of the action on Warland Reserve.

We heard you loud and clear: Families wanted more for the little rockers, so we’ve created a spot where kids can play, create, and be part of the festival in their own way. It’s colourful, safe, and packed with activities – the perfect place to burn off some energy or take a breather between dancing and exploring.

Here’s what’s waiting for them:

🎯 Lawn Games! Giant Jenga, noughts-and-crosses, quoits, bean bag toss, and more. Perfect for friendly competitions, silly challenges, and giggles all round. Grown-ups are welcome to join in too – it’s fun for all ages.

🎨 Colouring-In Station! Time to get creative! Kids can bring their own festival masterpiece to life, with plenty of designs to choose from, lots of nice sharp coloured pencils, and a chance to take home their artwork as a keepsake.

🎭 Face Painting! From rockstar lightning bolts to butterflies and superheroes, our face painters are ready to turn little faces into living works of art. It’s a family favourite for a reason (and a must for the photo album!).

Whether they’re chasing high scores in a game, colouring up a storm, or showing off a brand new face, the Kids Zone makes sure even the smallest festival-goers can make big memories.

…and if you need a bit of an energy boost while checking out the festival, there’s ice cream, fairy floss and other goodies close handy, thanks to the ever-supportive team at All Sweets and Treats.

Meanwhiel: If you like your entertainment a little bit bigger or faster-moving, don’t forget Rock ‘N’ Roll sponsor Girdler Family Amusements is located just across the road on the foreshore. All the favourites are there, including dodgem cars, tea cup ride, and sideshow alley, and we hear the Big Wheel is perfect if you want to see the whole festival all at once!
