TERMS & CONDITIONS
Victor Harbor Rock ‘N’ Roll Festival
By attending or participating in this event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
General Entry
- Entry to the event grounds is at your own risk.
- The event is family-friendly and alcohol-free (unless otherwise permitted in licensed areas).
- The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual for unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour.
Vehicle Display Participants
- All vehicles must be pre-registered unless approved by the organisers.
- Vehicles must be insured, roadworthy, and safely operated at all times.
- No burnouts, excessive revving, or reckless driving will be tolerated.
- Vehicles must remain stationary during display hours unless directed by event staff.
- Entrants must follow all marshal instructions.
Health & Safety
- All attendees must comply with event safety protocols and current public health directives.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- First aid services will be available on-site. In an emergency, contact event staff or call 000.
Restricted Items
The following items are strictly prohibited within the event zone:
- Alcohol (outside of licensed areas)
- Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons (including decorative or imitation items)
- Fireworks, explosives, or flammable materials
- Drones or other aerial devices (unless pre-approved)
- Laser pointers
- Unauthorized amplified sound equipment
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, or hoverboards (excluding mobility aids)
- Non-service animals
- Unauthorised merchandise, advertising materials, or signage
Event staff may confiscate restricted items and remove non-compliant attendees without refund.
Photography & Media
- By attending, you grant permission to be photographed or filmed and/or otherwise recorded (by the events approved and accredited provider) and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of the photographs and/or recordings now or in the future in any medium without restriction or financial gain and waive any and all claims connected with the taking, recording, publication and use of the photographs and recordings.
- Personal photography and video are allowed; commercial use requires prior written approval.
Stallholders & Performers
- All stallholders and performers must be pre-approved by organisers and provide valid public liability insurance.
- All stallholders must follow guidelines as shown in the stall holders guide.
Weather Policy
- The event will proceed in most weather conditions.
- In the event of extreme weather, updates will be communicated via official channels.
- No refunds will be issued due to weather disruptions unless otherwise specified.
Liability
- The organisers, sponsors, volunteers, and associated partners accept no liability for:
- Injury, illness, or death
- Theft, loss, or damage to personal property or vehicles
- Weather conditions, program changes, or acts beyond our control
- Attendees and participants attend at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
- By entering, you agree to indemnify the organisers against any legal claims arising from your actions.
Compliance with Laws & Directions
- All attendees and participants must comply with:
- Applicable local, state, and federal laws
- Event-specific rules and guidelines
- Directions issued by event staff, marshals, security, or emergency services
- Failure to comply may result in removal from the event and potential legal consequences.
Code of Conduct
- All individuals must behave respectfully toward others.
- Harassment, discrimination, aggression, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
- Offenders may be removed from the event and refused future entry.
