By attending or participating in the Victor Harbor Rock ’N’ Roll Festival, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
General Entry
Entry to the event grounds is at your own risk.
The festival is family-friendly. Alcohol is only permitted within licensed areas.
Event organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual displaying unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
Vehicle Display Participants
All vehicles must be pre-registered unless approved by the organisers.
Vehicles must be insured, roadworthy and operated safely at all times.
Burnouts, excessive revving and reckless driving are strictly prohibited.
Vehicles must remain stationary during display hours unless directed by event staff.
Entrants must follow all directions issued by event staff or marshals.
All vehicles are displayed and operated at the owner’s risk.
Health and Safety
All attendees must comply with event safety requirements and any applicable public health directives.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
First aid services will be available on-site. In an emergency, contact event staff or call 000.
Lost Property
Lost property should be reported to event staff or the festival information point.
Items found during the festival may be held by the organisers for a limited time after the event. If you believe you have lost an item, please contact the festival team after the event.
Restricted Items
The following items are not permitted within the event area:
- Alcohol outside licensed areas
- Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
- Weapons, including decorative or imitation weapons
- Fireworks, explosives or flammable materials
- Drones or other aerial devices unless pre-approved
- Laser pointers
- Unauthorised amplified sound equipment
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards or hoverboards (excluding mobility aids)
- Unauthorised merchandise, advertising materials or signage
Event staff may confiscate restricted items and remove non-compliant attendees from the event.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at outdoor areas of the festival but must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners are responsible for their animals and must clean up after them.
Photography and Media
By attending the event, you acknowledge that photographs and video recordings may be taken for promotional or media purposes.
By entering the event area, you consent to being photographed or filmed and to the use of those images or recordings in promotional material, publications, media or online content relating to the festival.
Personal photography and video are permitted. Commercial use requires prior written approval from the organisers.
Stallholders and Performers
All stallholders and performers must be approved by event organisers and provide valid public liability insurance where required.
Stallholders must operate in accordance with the Stallholder Guide and any directions provided by event staff.
Weather
The festival will proceed in most weather conditions.
In the event of severe weather or safety concerns, updates will be communicated via official festival channels.
Liability
The event organisers, sponsors, volunteers and associated partners accept no liability for:
- Injury, illness or death
- Loss, theft or damage to personal property or vehicles
- Program changes, weather conditions or circumstances beyond the organisers’ control
Attendees and participants attend the festival at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and belongings.
Compliance with Laws and Directions
All attendees and participants must comply with:
- Applicable local, state and federal laws
- Event-specific rules and guidelines
- Directions issued by event staff, security, marshals or emergency services
Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.
Code of Conduct
All attendees must behave respectfully toward others.
Harassment, discrimination, aggression or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Individuals engaging in such behaviour may be removed from the event.

These terms and conditions may be updated from time to time. Please refer to the event website or on-site signage for the most current version.
