Sometimes, after a day of dancing, live music, markets and admiring a few hundred beautiful vehicles, sitting down in a comfy cinema seat sounds like a pretty good idea.
Rock’n Roll’n Movies are back at Victa Cinema for the 2026 festival, with two classics heading to the big screen across the weekend.
Friday 18 September – The Silverados + Grease
We’re kicking things off on Friday night with festival favourites The Silverados, performing live at Victa Cinema before the 1978 musical classic Grease hits the screen.
John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, the Pink Ladies, the T-Birds, some questionable teenage decision-making and more leather jackets than you can poke a comb at – it’s hard to imagine a film more at home at a Rock ‘N’ Roll Festival.
The Silverados start at 6pm, followed by a short intermission before Grease rolls at 7.30pm.
Tickets: $20, including the live performance and film.
Saturday 19 September – American Graffiti
On Saturday night, we’re swapping Rydell High for the streets of small-town California with George Lucas’s American Graffiti.
Set over one summer night in 1962, it’s packed with cruising, classic cars and early rock ‘n’ roll – which should all feel rather familiar after a Saturday spent wandering around the festival.
Tickets: $12, film starts at 7pm.
