Getting to and from the Victor Harbor Rock ’N’ Roll Festival will be a little easier in 2026, with free buses and discounted SteamRanger train trips available thanks to THINK! Road Safety.

The festival weekend is all about live music, classic cars, dancing and good times by the sea, but a great weekend starts with a good plan. Whether you’re staying nearby, heading in from another town, or enjoying a night at The Coral Club, we encourage everyone to think ahead about how they’ll get there and home again.
Free buses will run during peak festival times, helping people travel between the festival precinct and key accommodation areas including McCracken Resort and Franklin Parade. Buses will depart from the Coral Club area on Stuart Street and Coral Street, making it easier to enjoy the festival without worrying about parking or driving.

Visitors can also take advantage of a special offer from SteamRanger Heritage Railway, with discounted Cockle Train trips available for $10 per person each way when booked online. The train runs from Goolwa, Middleton and Port Elliot into Victor Harbor, dropping passengers right in the heart of the festival.
What a fitting way to arrive for a rock ’n’ roll weekend! The historic railway line has been part of the Fleurieu Peninsula since 1854, and some services will feature the much-loved Red Hen railcars, giving visitors a little step back in time before a weekend full of 50s and 60s music, dancing and style.
Festival organisers said the extra transport options are about making the weekend safer, easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
Whether you’re catching the bus from your accommodation, jumping on the train from Goolwa, Middleton or Port Elliot, or simply making a plan before a big night at The Coral Club, the message is simple: Get there safely, get home safely, and enjoy every minute of the festival.
More details about the service can be found on the Getting to the Festival page.
