2025: What to eat at the festival

After all that dancing, you’re going to need a way to refuel and recharge, or maybe just treat yourself to something tasty! This year we’re bringing together an awesome mix of food trucks, sure to keep your belly full and your tastebuds happy.

Ocean Street Bakehouse is the home of the Whale Donut

First things first, Ocean Street Bakehouse is getting into the festival spirit even before things officially start! This is where you’ll find our 5MU Live Broadcast on Friday September 19, with Adam and Jennie playing classic tunes and chatting to people between 6-9am.

Of course, there’s some great food on offer as well – whether you’re after a tasty Kelly pie, a fan-favourite cheese and bacon sausage roll, or even a fresh loaf of bread, the team have you covered… and if your tastes veer a little more towards the sweet side of things, well, how about a Malted Milo Whale Donut!

On Warland Reserve, we’ve got four delicious options rolling in, ready to keep you fuelled all weekend long:

Senor Taco promise “deliciously authentic Mexican food”, along with the firm belief that a balanced diet is a taco in each hand. Take your pick from a variety of tacos (including beef, chicken, fish and even cauliflower), or a serve of nachos complete with home made sauces, salsas and guacamole.

Atomic Food are bringing their burger game to Warland Reserve, along with chips, salads, and cold drinks. It’s a local Goolwa take on modern mediterranean – you might see Moroccan Chicken on the menu, or Dukkha Pumpkin, or even a classic Egg & Bacon roll. Whatever they’re cooking up, you know it’ll be delicious.

Asian Aussie Street Food creates their own little piece of the Philippines wherever they go. They’ve promised lumpia spring rolls, Filipino sticks BBQ, pork humba, pancit guisado (noodles), loaded chips, rice bowls and even a Pinoy take on burritos!

For the sweet tooth: Fan favourites Wafflestix are back! At its most simple, this is a freshly-baked waffle, on a stick. The fun really starts when you start looking at the range of toppings available. Would you like your waffle smothered in melted chocolate? Covered in sprinkles? Dotted with fresh strawberries or mini marshmallows? …and they also make fresh coffee, cups of tea, and more flavours of hot chocolate than I can list here.

…and if you’re in the mood for something a bit more chill, local favourites All Sweets And Treats are bringing their ice cream kombi to Warland Reserve, packed with their award-winning delights and other delicious goodies.

PLUS: Don’t forget the locals!
Victor Harbor itself has some incredible food options. From traditional bakeries and fish ‘n’ chips, to pub grub and pizzas, you’re sure to find something to fill your belly. If you see someone eating something that looks good, ask them where it came from – you could find a new favourite!

Meanwhile, it’s a two day festival, with everything happening between 11am and 5pm. Is that enough time to try all of our delicious food options, or should we add an extra day just for eating?
