Originally dubbed the “Australian Imelda May” when she burst onto the scene, her unforgettable performance at Viva Las Vegas #21 earned her a new title: “The Australian Queen of Rockabilly.”
In 2015, Cherry released an album in Melbourne produced by Tommy McEwan, marking a major milestone in her musical journey. Then in 2018, the release of her EP Firecracker, co-written with Zac Jones, changed everything. The EP showcased a bold evolution in Cherry’s sound and songwriting, capturing the attention of audiences and critics alike. It redefined how the world saw Cherry—not just as a performer, but as a powerful creative force in the Rockabilly scene.
